The first thing I got was a wikipedia definition:
Pro-ana refers to the promotion of the eating disorder anorexia nervosa
And if that's not bad enough, when I clicked images, I got this:
There are so much more picture like this across the internet. Just Google 'Thinspiration' and it's just as bad. If you search 'Thinspiration' on the site, Pinterest, they'll give you the message:
Eating disorders are not lifestyle choices, they are mental disorders that if left untreated can cause serious health problems or could even be life-threatening.

Wait, these girls are prettier than this? :
Because, I don't know about society, but I love curves. We're women. We're supposed to have them.
It gets worse though. Some of these pictures have messages like the picture above:
This is almost unreal.
But it is. It is very real for so many women in society.
I don't even know what was wrong with these two girls in the first place. Their bodies were stunning as is.
To starve yourself to look like this is just disgusting.
I understand there are girls out there who are born this skinny. There are also girls out there that are more curvy. It really depends on what you want to call yourself. Don't let society label you. I'm calling the girls above ugly because they let society turn them into something they weren't in the first place. Something worse than before. There is absolutely no good in this. Why are we doing this girls? The only reason I could come up with is to impress the opposite sex because everyone wants the girl with the "model body". But those models let other people decide what they look like. They're constantly poked and prodded. And even after all the "dieting" and the hair cuts and dyes, the photos are still edited. No matter how beautiful you are, someone will always find something wrong. And what's the point of being beautiful if you don't believe it yourself? Do you really need someone else to tell you that you're fucking amazing inside and out? No. You don't. Be known as the georgeous confident girl that you are and not the girl who was so obsessed with herself that she slowly starved herself to death.
I'd like to make it clear that I think change is good. Good change is good. If you're going to change your body, change it for the better. Go out and exercise. Start running like I have. Get that six pack you deserve (not saying that I have one because I don't).
There's a strong difference between fit and skinny and I'd take fit over skinny any day.
Here's me. Spongebob boxers and all. You can't see my ribs. I don't have a gap between my legs. I have hips but they have curve to them rather than bone. Sure, I'd love to have that six pack in place of that small gut, but for now I'm okay with myself.
Seriously, we're women. We're better than this Pro-Ana shit.
Besides, there's bacon in the world. Whether you prefer veggie bacon or straight-from-the-pig's-behind bacon, it's still bacon. Eat it.
Oh I also have something to say about these messages:
Well, you're probably going to lose your boobs if you lose fat everywhere else on your body. So then you'll be a flat chested skeleton.
It's called being a whore. You don't have to starve yourself for that.
And last but not least...
Abso-fucking-lutely. They were fucking delicious thank you very much!
