Well, it's the summer before Senior year and I can't believe I made it this far. No, that's a lie. I know I'd make it this far. I can't believe I made it with as much success and fulfillment these past 3.5 years have given me. I'm not going to lie and tell you it's been easy. No, it's been far from it but I've come out of the hellish flames with a smile on my face.
With Senior year just coming into view, I've already begun to be bombarded with questions of my plans for life after High School. Well, to answer you all, I don't know. I have an idea of what I want to do but I'm going where life takes me. Overall, I just want to be happy to enjoy life. Maybe I'll finally get that novel written that will give even Stephen King a run for his money. Or perhaps one day I'll have an actual professional blog that will earn me money (Not that I don't love this blog and everyone who reads it). What I'm really hoping for though, is the ability to make music for the rest of my life. It's had such an impact on my life and you bet I'll be lowered into my grave playing. I don't want to make it big, I just want to make it. I want to be as happy as these people in life: (And I dare you to watch every single one of these. Full length. You'd be cheating yourself if you didn't)
Mirrors (Justin Timberlake K-O.ver) - Cello Live by Kevin "K-O." Olusola
Il Volo - 'O Sole Mio
Downtown Spokane Street Musician Bryson Andres
For this one, I was there and I can tell you that guitarist and violinist high up there were having so much fun. They're really my inspiration for everything I do. Their smiles were priceless. I was really close to the riser-things when I went to see TSO. Might have been the best day of my life.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2012 Winter Finale - Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo
I was here for this too. These guys are my favorite band to see live. They put on a good show. I hope to meet them someday and maybe if I'm good enough, jam with 'em :)
Godsmack Drum Battle...Uproar 2012
There you have it. That's what I wanna do when I graduate.
